Who We Serve

Managed Care Organizations, Insurance Companies, and Health Care Providers

Patient Support Services USA, LLC can work with your business to provide member eligibility screening and application assistance, as well as advocacy for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits. This can lead to higher capitation rates for managed care organizations, assisting health care providers with Public Health Service 340B drug pricing program covered entity status, and offsetting long term disability payments for private long-term disability insurance companies. For all businesses, offering members/clients the services provided by Patient Support Services USA, LLC will enhance overall customer satisfaction as they will not have to go through the application process alone. Additionally, the financial support that comes from gaining SSDI and SSI benefits can provide a significant positive impact on your members’ lives.

"As an insurance provider we are very thankful for PSS and the service they provide. They have a very thorough workflow and an amazing understanding of the process to help our members we insure."
— Holly Shelton, Utilization Management Coordinator, Confluence Health

As former Social Security Administration (SSA) employees, we understand the challenges people face when trying to apply for disability benefits for themselves or a loved one. The SSA is a complex bureaucracy but we know how to navigate it. We can help you avoid bottlenecks and accelerate your claim!

Our Medicare specialists understand that you have many options for receiving Medicare coverage. We will explain your options and let you decide what will work best for you. We can help you understand the benefits and enroll in a plan with one of the many companies we represent. We also put our clients’ needs first; so if the companies we represent do not offer what you need, we will gladly refer you elsewhere.

"I would not have pursued my son's disability case had it not been for PSS."
— Linda C., Member, Molina Healthcare of WA

Services We Provide

Social Security Disability

Social Security Disability Insurance provides monthly cash benefits to you, and certain members of your family, if you are blind or disabled and have worked long enough and paid Social Security taxes.

Supplemental Security Income

Supplemental Security Income provides monthly cash benefits to those who are blind or disabled, and have limited income and resources, regardless of their work history.

Continuing Disability Reviews

In certain situations we will help clients with Continuing Disability Reviews (CDR). This is a review where the Social Security Administration (SSA) periodically reviews your disability, or blindness, to decide whether you are still blind or disabled. If they determine you are no longer blind or disabled, or if you do not cooperate with the CDR, SSA will stop your benefits. The law requires SSA to perform a medical CDR approximately every 3 years.

Medicare: Medicare is the federal health insurance program administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services for people who are 65 or older, or those under 65 who have disabilities and have been receiving Social Security Disability benefits for 24 months. It is also immediately available for people with End Stage Renal Disease, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

Medicare has four parts and each part helps cover specific services:

  • Part A (Hospital Insurance) is the part of Original Medicare that covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care.
  • Part B (Medical Insurance) is the part of Original Medicare that covers certain doctors’ services, preventive services, medical supplies, and outpatient care.
  • Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans)  is a type of Medicare health plan, Medicare Advantage, offered by private companies that contracts with Medicare to provide you with all your Part A and Part B benefits. Most Medicare Advantage Plans offer prescription drug coverage.
  • Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage) covers prescription drugs. Part D plans are offered by companies approved by Medicare. Medicare Advantage Plans may also offer prescription drug coverage as part of the plan.

Patient Support Services USA and its affiliates offers clients Medicare education and options for enrollment in Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap), and/or Prescription Drug Plans. Medigap policies only supplement Original Medicare and help pay Part B bills. These policies are sold by private companies and help pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare doesn’t cover, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. A Medigap policy is different from a Medicare Advantage Plan.

We assist with enrollment in Medicare products offered by the following private companies:

  • Molina Healthcare
  • Health Alliance
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Humana
  • Omaha Insurance Company
  • Health Net
  • EnvisionRxPlus
