Who We Serve

Medicare Beneficiaries including veterans, those with disabilities, and those seeking an alternative to traditional Health Insurance

We understand the challenges people face when trying to apply for disability benefits for themselves or a loved one. The SSA is a complex bureaucracy and we know how to navigate it. We can help you avoid bottlenecks and accelerate your claim!

Our Ticket To Work Program Specialist will provide you with personalized services and supports to help you get back to work and gain financial independence after a period of disability.

Our Medicare specialists understand that you have many options for receiving Medicare coverage. We will explain your options and let you decide what will work best for you. We can help you understand the benefits and enroll in a plan with one of the many companies we represent. We also put our clients’ needs first; so if the companies we represent do not offer what you need, we will gladly refer you elsewhere.

Not quite eligible for Medicare and looking for an alternative to expensive traditional health insurance? We have partnered with Zion Healthshare, a nonprofit medical healthshare program.

Services We Provide

Medicare

Medicare: Medicare is the federal health insurance program administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services for people who are 65 or older or those under 65 who have disabilities and have been receiving Social Security Disability benefits for 24 months. It is also immediately available for people with End Stage Renal Disease, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

Medicare has four parts and each part helps cover specific services:

  • Part A (Hospital Insurance) is the part of Original Medicare that covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care.
  • Part B (Medical Insurance) is the part of Original Medicare that covers certain doctors’ services, preventive services, medical supplies, and outpatient care.
  • Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans)  is a type of Medicare health plan, Medicare Advantage, offered by private companies that contracts with Medicare to provide you with all your Part A and Part B benefits. Most Medicare Advantage Plans offer prescription drug coverage.
  • Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage) covers prescription drugs. Part D plans are offered by companies approved by Medicare. Medicare Advantage Plans may also offer prescription drug coverage as part of the plan.

Patient Support Services USA offers clients Medicare education and options for enrollment in Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap), and/or Prescription Drug Plans. Medigap policies only supplement Original Medicare and help pay Part B bills. These policies are sold by private companies and help pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare doesn’t cover, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. A Medigap policy is different from a Medicare Advantage Plan.

We assist with enrollment in Medicare products offered by the following private companies:

  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Regence
  • Aetna
  • Atrio
  • Molina Healthcare
  • Health Alliance
  • Humana
  • Devoted Health
  • Wellcare by Health Net
  • Providence
  • Lasso Healthcare

Disclaimer: We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent eleven organizations which offer fifty-eight products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local state health insurance program to get information on all of your options.

The above disclaimer is for Marion County, Oregon. I am licensed to offer plans in ten states.  Please reach out to learn about those plans.
