Giving Back

Patient Support Services USA, LLC was founded on Christian principles. At a minimum, ten percent of profits are used to sponsor or donate annually to non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for the disabled. We are proud to support many organizations; the following is an example of a few:

Wheelchairs for Nigeria

For over 20+ years this organization has been building wheelchairs for polio survivors. Their services have gradually expanded to providing canes for the blind and much-needed equipment and food for a school for the deaf. Wheelchairs for Nigeria is based out of Seattle, WA, and Jos, Nigeria. Their shop in Jos, Nigeria has 68 employees (including 34 apprentices) where they build wheelchairs specially designed for Nigeria’s rough terrain. Some of the employees are handicapped themselves.

Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding Center

Based in Southern Idaho, Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding Center provides hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, and equine facilitated learning. Hippotherapy is therapy conducted on horseback by a licensed, speech, physical, or occupational therapist. It utilizes the same goals set for patients in the clinic but challenges them further by employing the 3-dimensional movement of the horse. Therapeutic riding is conducted individually or in a small group session by a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. These sessions focus on increasing individual riding skills while gaining a wide range of therapeutic benefits. Equine facilitated learning is an unmounted program designed to create a learning atmosphere with the help of the horse done in a group or individual setting by a PATH Certified Instructor
