Giving Back

Patient Support Services USA was founded on Christian principles. At a minimum, ten percent of profits are contributed annually to non-profits dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with disabilities both locally and abroad. We are also dedicated to supporting our Nation's veterans and first responders. We are proud to support many organizations; the following is an example of just a few:

Joys of Living Assistance Dogs

Joys of Living Assistance is dedicated to provide skilled, devoted  service dogs to support and assist persons living with disabilities - creating cohesive teams focused on building a life of greater freedom and independence. Service dogs are offered to qualified veterans at no cost. JLAD is  based in Salem, Oregon.

Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding Center

Based in Southern Idaho, Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding Center provides hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, and equine facilitated learning. Hippotherapy is therapy conducted on horseback by a licensed, speech, physical, or occupational therapist. It utilizes the same goals set for patients in the clinic but challenges them further by employing the 3-dimensional movement of the horse. Therapeutic riding is conducted individually or in a small group session by a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. These sessions focus on increasing individual riding skills while gaining a wide range of therapeutic benefits. Equine facilitated learning is an unmounted program designed to create a learning atmosphere with the help of the horse done in a group or individual setting by a PATH Certified Instructor.

Wheelchairs for Nigeria

For over 20+ years this organization has been building wheelchairs for polio survivors. Their services have gradually expanded to providing   canes for the blind and much-needed equipment and food for a school for the deaf. Wheelchairs for Nigeria is based out of Seattle, Washington and  Jos, Nigeria. Their shop in Jos has 68 employees where they build wheelchairs specially designed for Nigeria’s rough terrain. Some of the employees are handicapped themselves.
